Shiraz Boghani Takes Home Major Hotel Award

The founder and Chair of the Splendid Hospitality Group has recently won a major award for the work he has completed in the hotel industry and his prolonged good works as a prominent philanthropist and community worker in the U.K. Shiraz Boghani is perhaps best known in the U.K. as the head of a number of businesses spread across different sectors of industry as he has found success in every field he has attempted to become involved in over the course of the last half-century.

Through his impressive work in his business career, Shiraz Boghani has also found the time and given his own often valuable time to make sure the people of the U.K. and the wider world are represented at the national level in respect of many different good causes. The founder of the Splendid Hospitality Group was born in Kenya and is now a leading figure in the U.K.’s National Council representing the Ismaili community’s interests across the nation; Boghani has also been involved in a range of activities for the Aga Khan University headquartered in Pakistan and providing training programs across portions of Kenya and the U.K.

The career of Shiraz Boghani could have been extremely different if he had remained rooted in his initial career as a chartered accountant who made s success of his early life after arriving from his home nation of Kenya in 1969. Shiraz Boghani made the move to extend the reach of his business activities in 1985 with an investment in the Sussex Health Care group providing healthcare and nursing activities from a range of specialized facilities across the U.K.

Shiraz Boghani took home the award for the Hotelier of the Year at the Asian Business Awards after achieving a huge level of success through his Splendid Hospitality Group which has developed from providing mid-level accommodation into a provider of luxury hotels across the U.K. The Kenya-born hotelier made his first waves in the hospitality industry in the 1990s when his love of hotels and tourism led to him opening up the market for limited service hotels in the London capital which have now spread across the U.K.
